About Me

My career progression in several, significant directions – teacher; stage and screen actor; theatre director and playwright; radio and television broadcaster; print journalist and, most recently, editor; conference moderator; retreat facilitator; master of ceremonies and communication skills’ tutor – has been wholly defined by my affinity to and dexterity with The Word. I speak and write four languages: Lunyala, Kiswahili, English and French and I excelled in Latin as a young student.

For many years, I was Head of Modern Languages at two international schools in Kenya. I have consciously developed my analytical and presentation skills over the years and past clients have credited me with an incisive intellectual rigour, coupled with a charming and diplomatic sense of humour. I enjoy music of all kinds tremendously as I do reading, especially poetry and autobiography. I also have a great love of Shakespeare. Therefore, to engage me in any activity to do with words is to be assured that I shall add value to the proceedings.
